Who is responsible
This website, grainofsaas.com, is run by Grain of SaaS (Spain). You can contact us at hello@grainofsaas.com.
What data we collect
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, records technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Comments. Comments are currently turned off on the site. If we turn them on, we will store the name, email address and website you enter, your comment, your IP address and your browser details, and may check comments for spam.
- Messages. If you email us, we keep the message and your address to reply and to handle corrections.
At the time of writing, the site does not add analytics or advertising cookies. WordPress sets cookies only for people who log in or leave a comment and choose to have their details remembered. If we add analytics or affiliate tracking, we will update this page and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- Running and securing the site, and preventing spam: our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Publishing and moderating your comment: our legitimate interest, and your action in submitting it.
- Replying to your messages: our legitimate interest in answering requests.
- Any non-essential cookies or tracking: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
Who receives it
Our hosting provider processes data on our behalf. We do not sell personal data. We may link to vendor sites; those sites have their own privacy policies, and affiliate links, if we add them, can set cookies on the vendor’s site.
How long we keep it
Server logs are kept for the period set by our hosting provider. Comments are kept until they are deleted. Emails are kept as long as needed to deal with your request and any follow-up.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to its use, and receive a copy of it. You can also withdraw consent at any time. Write to us at the address above. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority (in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es).
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and show the date at the top.
